Gunung Sahari Utara Launched Into KB Village

The Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta is launching the Family Planning (KB) Village at Sahara RPTRA, Jalan Rajawali Selatan IV, RT 02/02, Gunung Sahari Utara Urban Village.

Sawah Besar already has four KB villages so far, hopefully it's able to minimize the rate of population growth and improve the quality of life of citizens

"Sawah Besar already has four KB villages so far, hopefully it's able to minimize the rate of population growth and improve the quality of life of citizens," expressed Martua Sitorus, Head of Sawah Besar Sub-district, after inaugurating the KB Village, Wednesday (3/28).

Kemanggisan Urban Village Declared as KB Village

Those four KB villages are located in Gunung Sahari Utara Urban Village, Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Karang Anyar Urban Village and Pasar Baru Urban Village. Yet there is one urban village that does not have it yet, namely Kartini Urban Village but it is still under land finding process to be filed to Jakarta Provincial Government.

"For mentoring and debriefing is done by the Empowerment Child Protection and Population Control Sub-dept. along with the Health Sub-dept. such as family planning program and empowerment of women, children and the elderly," he stated.

This KB village launching is also coupled with consulting services and family planning counseling, especially to young mothers and expectant mothers who were present at this morning's activities. For those interested, will be given recommendations to come to the local community health center (Puskesmas).
